For the holiday we went to Sunriver, Oregon where my parents have a house. The weather was great and it was fun to relax and enjoy being in the outdoors. Jared went on his first bike ride which he really enjoyed, except he wasn't a huge fan of the helmet he wore that was about as big as he was! We made him really comfortable with pillows and he slept half of the time in the bike trailer. We also enjoyed feeding the ducks and geese, going on walks, and sitting outside on the patio reading.

What's with the helmet? Were you thinking that he was somehow going to escape the 4 harnesses you have him strapped into - come on... don't raise a scaredy cat.

Jared is such a cutie! I'm so jealous you got to go to Sunriver! We're actually flying up there on August 10-18 so you'll have to come up to my moms house and play. Jeff will be interviewing at your dad's firm...who knows, maybe we'll end up back in Oregon! (Yeah, I've been saying that for like 3 years now! :) Anyway, we'll be in touch!
